  • 1. Do you need to order any special meals, foods, products, or supplements?

    No. You do not need to order any special foods, meals, products or supplements. This program is designed to teach you how to improve and modify your eating routines and behaviors to create new healthier eating habits based on your likes and dislikes.

  • 2. What type of support will I get?

    Each Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. EST there is a live twenty-minute zoom.us meeting where you can ask questions. There is also a private Facebook page for members to provide support for each other. It is suggested you get an accountability partner. We provide you with information on how to choose an accountability partner if you need or want one.

  • 3. What types of foods can you eat on the Your Thinner Self Plan?

    You will learn what foods and beverages to avoid and what you should eat and drink based on your preferences. Each person is different and we all have different likes and dislikes. For example, some people prefer to eat red meat, others do not. Some like eggs, some do not. Some people enjoy fish, others do not. The simple solution for healthy eating is to eat holistic (whole) foods, mostly plants, not too much, avoid processed foods, and drink lots of pure water. If it were that easy we'd all be thinner and healthier. You'll will learn how your food is being scientifically engineered to increase your craving for fats, sugar, salt, and texture and what you can do about it. 

  • 4. Do you need to exercise on this program?

    No. There is no requirement to exercise to lose weight with this program. Ninety to ninety-five percent of weight loss is based on the foods and beverages you eat and drink. Many individuals, however, want to be more physically active once they shed some of their extra weight.

  • 5. Do you need to count calories or weight and measure my portions?

    No, you need not need to count calories or weight and measure your portions. You will learn how your portions have been supersized without realizing it and how to fix it. The adage, "Calories in, calories out is all you need for weight loss" is a misnomer. Not all food calories are equal. Certain foods that have higher calories actually have lower net calories than other foods. You will learn how to reduce your caloric intake without feeling hungry or deprived.

  • 6. What makes the Your Thinner Self Plan different than other programs?

    The Your Thinner Self Plan is different from other programs in that it teaches you to improve your eating behaviors and routines which helps you change your eating habits. This is NOT a diet. It is a lifestyle. You will learn 10 eating behaviors to modify that are scientifically proven to give you noticeable results if done consistently for at least 90 days. There are no special meals or foods to order. There are no products or supplements to take. There is no exercise routine to follow and no calories to count. You will also learn how to read the Nutrition Fact Panels on food products to understand exactly what you are consuming. This plan deals with the emotional, psychological and mental aspects of food and your relationship with food.

  • 7. What happens at the end of the twelve weeks?

    Once you finish the twelve weeks you will lifetime access to all of the modules, the Facebook private support group and the live Q & A zoom.us sessions. This is a one-time investment for a lifetime of value. Some individuals lose enough weight in 90 days to reach their goal. Others take a little longer. This is not a race or a competition. The purpose is to learn how to make healthier eating choices and achieve a healthy weight that is sustainable.
